THE former Perth private schoolboy who killed his mother, father and brother in their luxury South African home has reportedly been injured in prison.

Henri Van Breda was found guilty last month of the axe murders of is mother Teresa, father Martin and brother Rudi, before attempting to slaughter his 16-year-old sister Marli.

On Thursday South African media reported Van Breda has been rushed from Pollsmoor Prison to a hospital.

Early reports suggested Van Breda had tried to commit suicide but this was denied by South Africa’s Department of Correctional Services.

Van Breda’s uncle Andre told South African website News 24 that reports his nephew had tried to commit suicide were “total nonsense”.
He said van Breda has instead been taken to the hospital wing of the prison.
