The authorities of Tunisia detained a ship of the Turkish company Akdeniz Roro, following from Novorossiysk, on customs inspection. This was reported by Tass at the Russian Embassy in Tunisia.

According to the agency, the ship was sent from Novorossiysk to the Cameroonian port of Douala with a cargo intended for the authorities of the Central African Republic.

"On February 15, the ship got into a storm and requested a call at the port of Sfax for repairs, where the customs inspection of the ship was started, which continues to the present day," the source said. According to the diplomat, there are no Russians among the crew members.

Previously, Russian border guards detained the Sea Breeze fishing schooner flying the flag of Sierra Leone in the Bering Sea. On board the Sea Breeze, the border guards found 4 tons of bait for the crab, but documents that allowed fishing in the exclusive economic zone of Russia were absent.
