Audio Book Series'
Anyone listen to Audio Books out there? I drive to the office once a week, but its a few hours drive. So, I have been filling the time with Audio Books. However, I never read much, other than technical and programming books/manuals, so I don't really know who the good authors are. Here is what I like. I like Mystery or Suspense Thrillers. I don't like too much gore and verbose detail of decapitated heads and junk like that (so, James Patterson is kind out for me--but he is close to what I like). I also like a series of books, rather then just a bunch of unrelated novels. So, here are two authors that kinda define the limits of what I am looking for:
David Baldacci - Really good series and a few of them. Lots of action, but not so much gore.
Simon Brett - Another good set of series. A bit more stuffy that Baldacci (more of a Ms. Marple type of author), but much better writing talent (I think). Less action, but more thinking, less Suspense/Thriller more Mystery.
Anyone have other suggestions for Audio Book Series that are good? Tell me why you like them and whether they are Mystery, SciFi, Suspense/Thriller, etc. Thanks.

You can look/research Tom Clancy... he has many books based on government, espionage, military, etc.
When I first started listening to Audio Books, I started with books that I have already read from the past, such as when in school (Huck Finn, The River, Harry Potter). So that got me into a mood that made me research and find more books - and more for adults. but it's always fun to listen to good old stories from the past.
good luck.
