A MAN has been arrested after the fatal stabbing of another man at St Clair in Sydney’s north-west suburbs last night.

Emergency services attended Dutch Place, St Clair, about 6.40pm yesterday, and found a man suffering multiple stab wounds.

He died at the scene.

Witnesses have told police two men were involved in an argument, before one of the men was stabbed and the other man fled the location.

Officers from Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene, which will be forensically examined.

Just after 8.30pm, police arrested a 31-year-old man nearby.

He was taken to Penrith Police Station where he is expected to be interviewed.

Inquiries are continuing.
