THE dad of a woman linked to David Beckham by wild online gossip last night blasted the claims as “nonsense”.

He told The Sun on Sunday: “My daughter has never even met him. End of story.”

Lurid rumours swept social media on Friday forcing Becks and wife Victoria to deny their 19-year marriage was over.

David’s spokesman dismissed the claims as a “crock of sh*t”.

Gossip was still rife yesterday with trolls naming a woman online.

Her furious father told The Sun on Sunday: “This is ridiculous. We have no idea where it has come from.

“She is a very pretty, attractive girl and been linked to it by fake news.

“She lives very happily with her boyfriend. She was here last weekend, and up until Friday night her life was pretty normal.”

He revealed his daughter’s employers have drafted in lawyers over the claims.

He admitted the former England and Man United star had visited his daughter’s workplace, but said they’d never spoken.

The woman’s dad also revealed she has had to suspend her social media accounts after being bombarded with 800 Facebook friend requests since the false claims emerged.

Posh Spice Victoria posted a Instagram pic on Friday evening of her with parents Jacky and Anthony and three of her children, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and Harper, six.

She wrote: “Fun dinner x kisses from us all x.”

David, 43, is understood to be in Miami where he is setting up a football team.

The couple were last seen together at Cotswolds celebrity haunt Soho Farmhouse ten days ago, and on Friday bookies suspended betting on the couple divorcing.

Thousands of Twitter and Facebook users shared claims a divorce was imminent between the showbiz power couple - with the rumours even becoming one of the internet's most discussed "trending topics".

But as Victoria posted a gushing message to her husband saying she "loves and misses" him, representatives said the unfounded gossip was "bizarre" and "fake".

The former Spice Girl wrote next to the snap on Instagram: “Morning cuddles x So much love. We love and miss u @davidbeckham.”

But a family spokesman said: “There’s no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news.

“This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time.”
