Wearing glasses is annoying. From looking like the stereotypical geek that’s never on-point to constant fog issues – it seems, people with specs are always complaining about something.

With these 27 reasons, who can blame them?

- Fogging up when opening the oven or sipping a hot drink.

- Constantly dirty, constantly cleaning.

- Raindrops on the lens.

- Needing to swap with prescription sunnies when outside and vice versa when you walk under cover. Worse – having to carry around the pair you aren’t wearing.

- Forget footy, golf or training – if the specs aren't in the way, they’ve fallen off.

- Any form of high activity exercise and having to switch from glasses to contacts… or risk not seeing anything at all.

- Fingers in eyes because you’re always trying to put your contacts in.

- Wearing reading glasses, then realising you can’t see anything else because you don’t have your long distance specs at hand.

- The endless ‘where are my glasses’ game.

- That split second of terror when your drop your glasses waiting for them to shatter.

- The headaches.

- When the frames are slightly too small and the sides dig in to your temple.

- When the frames are slightly too big and they keep sliding down your nose.

- Blindness when swimming or snorkelling, because really, who can't be bothered getting expensive script goggles, or messing about with contacts in water.

- Those red marks on your nose.

- Fresh makeup on the lenses.

- When you put makeup on without your spec, but you can’t actually see what you’re doing.

- Travel, and making sure you remember your glasses wherever you go.

- Lying down, and having the frames glasses dig into the side of your face.

- Those inspiring once-in-a-lifetime moments you miss... because you’ve forgotten your glasses/sunnies.

- Blindness before you can put your contacts in or glasses on in the morning.

- Those unnecessarily thick lenses, and needing to pay that exorbitant price to have them thinned.

- The feeling of having a constant border around life.

- Let’s not even get started with 3D movies at the cinema.

- Everyone trying your glasses on because they look chic… this is usually followed up by them reminding you how blind you are.

- Kissing. It’s just awkward.

- Not having anywhere to put your glasses when you go to sleep.
