We need a dedicated tracker for each category that we interested. We need WhatCD for music content, Bibliotik for ebook, Karagarga and Cinematik for non-mainstream movies, TV-Vault for old TV shows, ToTheGlory for Asian contents, ... General tracker is lack of content and not guarantee for quality. For example, WhatCD has 755,175 perfect flacs but IPTorrents only has 300 flacs. And we can't find exclusive contents on general tracker, for example contents of RacingFor.Me. Also we need some other trackers for backup too.

Trackers come and go, and its always better to have backups. Every year trackers close for diferent reasons and if you are only on few(2-3-4) trackers and this year 1 closes, next year another one... if you only use btn for tv and it will close wouldnt be better to have a bitmetv or freshontv as backup? same for movie/music/games trackers....

When I first started I asked myself that question too. Now that I am more mature in private tracking, I'd say the reason for me to being a member of multiple trackers is the content. For example for Kickboxing content I look at MMA-Tracker, but for everyday stuff I'd use IPT etc...

Yeah, I'm also trying to get to more and more trackers, but what I see, is just, that I can't find more and better content, which is on Ncore, IPT and KAT. But really, I often try to search for some content on TD, or other trackers, but they don't give me any result at all. By the way I am still analyzing more and more trackers I want to get acess to a one, which is coding / pc software related.

Everything depends on what we are really looking for.
If we are on mainstream side, we can find what we want almost everywhere.
If we want more rare content, we need to focus on certain trackers that are more or less unique, so no back ups for those
In general, it's good to be members of many trackers, so we can regularly use some of them and occasionally can search missing content on the others
It's not good though to be members of too many trackers, because it's practically useless as well as we just can't handle them.
Last but not least, because we certainly don't want to spend most of our everyday lives in front of a computer monitor

I totally agree about that. Could you tell me, which trackers worth to be on them? And that what is the limit of the amount of trackers, which you can actually handle?
