whatcd tree- the main inviter and his invitees- if one of the invitees get banned for cheating trading etc

who will be banned ?

the cheater invitee+inviter

or both of them + the good users too ( the whole tree)

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I got invited by a good user about a year ago. I invited someone who turned around and resold my invite to a bad user. The bad user and I got banned, I really hope this didn't affect the guy who invited me.

On another note, tracker staff are biased when deciding punishment dependent on if your a donator or not and if your invitees are donators since donators = $

Not sure about what.cd, but this happened to me when Oink was around. I lost my invite giving privileges. I was glad I didn't get banned for the bad user's actions.

yes what.cd staff are bad, they ban many people .... ban you & invitee at same time, very harsh. i have 2 account disable for giving bad invite

This is the way ive heard they dó it:

First how cheated/sold/traded ? (we Call him X)

We have X here invited Z and Q where Q= one from the same country
Here try propperly ban X + Z but Q Will stay in site with his inv priv removed
But it also goes the other way so if Y had invited X and they are fra diffent countrys then hé propperly also get a ban

But there are stuff that can have influent on the dessision - are one of them heavy uploaders ? Have one of the donates every month, dó one of them have a "famous" nickname so the staff knows the person from other trackers, and so on

So it is impossible to tell what Will happen, and normaly they better just Ban 1 more, and 1 less, Then you Can always go and talk with them in the irc

Well they banned my entire invite tree twice, but my inviter did not get ban.
They usually ban the cheater and his inviter and anyone else he has invited, the inviter is held accountable for all actions of his invitee's.
