Dynamic IP is a must for traders !!!
When you have dynamic IP, every time you reboot your router, you are getting a new IP.

Otherwise (if you have a static) you have the same IP forever.
So if you got banned from a tracker, you can't register again there...
You can't use more than one accounts of the same tracker because only one account per IP is allowed...
You can't register more than one account in open signups...

So dynamic IP rocks and static IP sucks

    This statement is so false.

For torrenting it MIGHT be true ... but for everything else having a static ip is the best thing.

And not everytime that you reboot your router you will have a new ip.. depends on how much your isp sets the release time to.. my isp sets it to 5mins.. so if the router is not reconnected and 5 mins i'll have a new ip.

look stephen i know that the lease time ((not the releasetime)) is determind by the isp provider but the trader is right ip is changed by restarting the ip u should know that there is a difference between network ip and router ip....if u have static arp and restarted the router the computer ip will the remains the same while the router ip will be changed u should know if u have static arp or dynamic ip by

    =***run, cmd, arp/a

****u will see ur ip and ip of the network and beside that the status weither

    static or dynamic

    *and ur leasetime by

    ***run ,cmd ,,ipconfig/all

that is not my question then my question is

if i wrote in my profile i have dynamic ip does that give me ability to open the tracker any where with different ips
    ????

If you put that in your profile you might not get banned for IP change. No gurantee.

btw, if you have static IP, it will be the same even if you reboot your router 123279342 times
To change your IP (if it's a static) you have to apply to your ISP, and IF you are lucky they maybe change it.

A good trick to change your IP. Login to your router and clone the MAC address of your PC. Since your router will appear to have a new MAC address the DHCP server will assign a different IP. Wait a few days for the lease to expire and your good to go
