I have tried for several days to log-on to megaups.me and I'm getting a Web Server's Default Page called "Parallels Panal". Has megaups lost their domain name? And if so, does anyone know if they will comeback?

What's happened to Lasttorrents.org? They're down.

The lasttorrents staff didn't said what's happening. We wait for news, maybe they comeback.

lasttorrents is down forever, new lasttorrents is www.lastfiles.net active members of staff are there. - daniixx , CSM. wolff, Akito, MegatrolLT, CristyLT etc.

Where's the official announcement? The Twitter page says hosting problems.

You probably wonder yourself what happened to LT?
Well it technical it died. The active part of the staff (most of it) and the users moved here and started LastFiles.

Here is what happened:
We are not throwing dirt at LT. We are part of it, we loved it and we wanted it to persevere. We express here what happened.

As you might have noticed LT was falling apart. The forum was dead for months, VIP section disappeared, STREAMS gone and fewer and fewer torrents were uploaded everyday.
One major reason was the owners. They pretty much lost interest in the tracker. Users and some staff came with lots of ideas, prepositions, things to do to revive the trackers. None implemented.
The reason is that the owners did not care. Why? They had their reasons (family,work); we don't blame them.

One member of the staff told me: this tracker is like an old car. You keep in the garage, its dusty, old and it is barerly working. But you do not want to sell it because you still love it.
But the car will still be dead and no one will use it in the end (my view).

So nothing new happened, bugs existed and so it collapsed.

Part of the staff came here and founded LastFiles. We are the same LT community and some new faces. But we upgraded the house. New features, active owner.

That is why we call it the new LT. We moved house. It might not be built by the original owners (bitttorrent) or by the second ones(LT) but by the active users of the old LT.

We evolved but never forget the roots.

There was no official announcement. Lastfiles.net is a fake site who profits from lasttorrents downtime(or maybe shutdown). The staff from lastfiles.net is formed from some kids who don't know the grammar of the Romanian language well. Also they have a poor hosting server and wants to profit from users to donate to get vip or other privileges.

daniixx , CSM. wolff, Akito, MegatrolLT, CristyLT never was on LastTorrents.org staff. The owner of lasttorrents.org was Blaster and staff members was bubu, sevrajeala, vrenescw.

Actually, the owner was Digi. The only one i recall being in staff as moderator for a while is csm, about the rest, i don't know...it's been a while...Inside info from one of the real LT sysops: the site (lasttorrents.org) won't come back.
