As all have noticed after what.cd fall music lover pirates found themselves abandoned. In couple of days some new tracker raised to replace void of what.cd.

List of new tracker till now (in alphabetic order) -

2. passtheheadphones.me
3. xanax.rip

Let see who win & stay in long run.

the main reason becose i like them is the fact that they have open-signup. and the music fans that are not on btn, hdbits and other high level trackers have a chance to join.

nosteam doesn't work, can't find a way in to passtheheadphones,just joined xanax but cant fighure out how to donate to their cause.

I think I'll wait for Waffles.

How did you join xanax? I only see the login button, same like what.cd used to be. Do they have an IRC channel or smth?

I completely agree. I heard from long time what.cd members that what.cd started the same way with an open signup model. I kind of understand PTH and why they are closed to the "elite" atm, trying to build a steady collection of FLAC and good uploads. At the same time, give out some invites to the lower class man. We are all struggling here. Xanax all the way for me at this point.

I'm quite sad atm to hear of their financial issues and trying to get better hardware to support the influx of users. Hopefully the community donations won't go to waste...

Has anyone managed to connect to PTH's irc channel? I've been trying for 2 days, couldn't get through!

So I missed the open signups--was waiting for some of the dust to settle to see which of these sites would pan out the best, but waited too long apparently.

I was a whatcd poweruser for 8+ years--it's been so long I don't even know where to begin. Anyone have tips on how to get into any of these sites? I never sold my invites and won't pay--having trouble navigating all of this it's been so long, ha.
