    Post Tracker Recommendations and Discussions

NOTE: This is not a thread intended to make use of the list to collect trackers. Those recommendations are for the sole purpose of helping new and old torrent users to find a proper tracker faster.

Ok folks, I see that, the question of a good specific tracker, pops up kinda often, so I'm gonna list my recommendations for each niche. (as far as I know of them).

First of all, I don't see the use of high rated trackers such as FTN, iTS ,etc. cause they are low member base so low speeds. There are pretty good tracker with quality content and high speeds cause of big member base.

Now I won't list trackers that are impossible to reach, but I'll go for medium trackers with, big database (on both membership and data), easy to seed and fulfill your content needs.

ADVICE: Don't be a tracker collector, but a content consumer and keep the trackers you need and use. Don't try to have trackers just to raise your e-pen.

By the way, you don't need more than 1-2 tracker per category. And if you are not an uploader somewhere you should not care about pre-times, whats the point of downloading something 5 minutes faster? Will it make the movie more enjoyable, the game more playable? No, it's the same. And of course if you care about pre-times without seedbox, going for that will take you longer than usual to get your data.

    So here we go:

General Trackers - All general trackers have fairly same content, so why not look for the ones with better speed performance and bigger database with a variety of content?

TorrentLeech - (TL) - Here you have a variety of content for a big userbase, and proper seeded torrents, which gives you the chance for high speeds.
IPTorrents - (IPT) - Probably, the biggest private general tracker out there. The high userbase and peers enhance your speed for everything you try to get.
FileList - (FL) - I had in mind not to suggest a tracker that is a country specific. But I'll make a couple of exceptions. This tracker is the biggest Romanian one, I get speed up to 10mb/s, and it has a big userbase and database, pretty easy to seed as well. It might be harder to get it as, for the time being only VIP class members can send invites, and there are no many FL VIP members here.

Music Trackers - You only need one, or maybe you don't even need at all if you prefer streaming music like myself. As well maybe you prefer specific music so, I have some to recommend as well.

    - General Music - There are 2 big music trackers, and having one should fulfill your music needs. You need not to search for any other site.
What.cd - (w.cd) - This one is the biggest, but harder to seed and buffer your account. Pretty much you can find anything you search for. As well is a bit harder to get into as it's a no movement tracker here.
Waffles.fm - (WFF) - This one is slightly smaller at user and database than what.cd, but not so much not to fulfill your needs. It's easier to seed, easier to get into.

    - Specific Music
TranceTraffic - (TT) - It's the biggest tracker for electronic music, you won't need anything else. Torrents well seeded, very friendly users, high speeds and easy to seed back. It could be a little harder to get into, but the hard work pays off.
Music-Vids - (MV) - Avid music video fan and collector? Youtube don't meet your standards? This is where you have to join. Clean Vobs all the way. Might be harder to seed but it pays off.
LossLessWorld - (LLW) - Don't know much about this, cause I don't use lossless music. If you have a surround system and a great audio card, which can make possible to notice the difference between a 320kbps, this it's the biggest and easiest tracker to join. Otherwise, if you just have normal speakers, there is no difference between 320 and lossless.

TV Trackers - TV series lover? You would like to search for your favorite series in a tracker organized just for that? I have some suggestions.

BTN - If you get into this one, there is no need for other. Over 90k torrents with a variety of formats, and a well organized (user friendly) base. And the important thing, IT'S RATIOLESS. That's right , just download enjoy and seed torrents, without worrying about ratio drops.
Freshon.tv - (TVT) - The second exception in my mid. But it is pretty much a general tv series tracker as Romanian shows are not allowed. It's pretty easy to join, and it has a pretty large user/data base. Easy to seed, and almost entirely freeleech, as season packs are 100% free and HD episodes 50% free. You can try it as an alternative to BTN.
    Movie Trackers- Hard movies watcher?

PassThePopcorn - (PTP) - The biggest movie tracker out there. If you wish to find movies by genre, year, director, and so, this is the place. This one in combination with BTN makes the ultimate combo for a hard consumer of this kind of content. It is a no movement tracker here, but you won't find it hard to join.

    Old Movies
Karagarga - (KG) - If you are a classic move lover, and looking for non-mainstream movies, this is the place you should seek. Be wary not to seek for it if you are not really into, you won't find here movies like "Man of Steel" and "Fast and Furious".

As for HD, I think any will do, but I don't see the use of an HD tracker, if there is not a big screen with high resolution, which can make the difference between 720p and 1080p. For my laptop screen, it's no difference so, I can make use of general trackers for my HD needs (720p only and I don't jump for 1080p cause it's a waste of space for nothing)

e-Learning Trackers - This could be a problem, here depends on user's taste for learning content type.

BitMe - (BM) - Here is the biggest tracker from this niche, you can find almost anything you need. But the problem is, if you don't have a seedbox, could be pain in the a** to seed here.
ScienceHD - (SHD) - This tracker is for real documentary lovers, it has many different documentary that can't be found on any tracker.
Bibliotik and MyAnonamouse - specialized mostly in eBooks, so if you want something to read on your kindle, these are the ones you should try to get.
Docspedia - not as big as bitme, but close, it's the best alternative to it, and it's easy to seed and has high download speeds.

    Misc Trackers

Anime - AnimeByt.es - any anime fan should have this, big database, and has a lot of nice features. Pretty big database, over 55k torrents, with animes, manga, ost and everything for a truly anime fan.

Those are my recommendations, if you have some others, please add them with a comment and a review link. Please try to recommend easy to join trackers, and proper userbase and database, and not those with a just hundreds, or couple of thousand users, which will give low speeds.
Note that this intended to help users, not to raise their e-pen.

thanks Napoleon, you have summed it up in a good way. To add one more general tracker and one of the best trackers nowadays in my opinion which is Torrent Day

Regarding gaming, Black Cats Games and GazelleGames should do the job just fine. However if you do have BCG you dont need any other gaming tracker. it has everything old, new for all consoles. Just dont get into trouble with their dickhead staff

Well, What.cd, Waffles, TranceTraffic, BTN, PTP, BitMe and ScienceHD aren't very easy to join as far as I know.....
But of course, they are probably the best from their genre.
And I think you should add Jpopsuki, its really specific tracker....

    Very nice Tracker Recommendations Napoleon

In my opinion Torrentday should be added to the list, after TL,IPT, and FL, TD is the 4th best general tracker. Also can you modify the up speed at FL from 10mbs to 10MBs. Most romanians have 100Mbs home conections. Bitspyder its also a very good eLearning tracker
As for HD i agree with you but just to mention few good / easy to get HD trackers: BitHDTV,HD-Space,HD-Torrents.
