What does the community think about seed points or bonuses? Are they a cheap way to get ratio for free, only for newbie trackers or do you think they are a good idea?

@Barstoolgag Hard to seed trackers , it's better for all users to have "Bonus store" to get some GBs uploads
IMO i see it an extra point to help out members ,
Despite the need to wait for freeleech occassions Or upload your own stuffs (however it's critical to do so!)

I think they are definitely a good idea, independent of how easy it is to get upload.
Especially the trackers that go beyond just buying GB’s with bonus points.

Think that these points can be an extra motivation for people to seed longer to accumulate them.

The points are absolutely necessary in my opinion. On a lot of trackers I use I often find myself seeding things with little or no seeders and catch a snatch maybe once a month.

On certain site they provide a little bit of fun as well, allowing you to exchange them for VIP perks or silly user flairs. Its not always about ratio building sometimes its just nice to feel apart of the community.

Bonus points work well to encourage people to seed longer and more. Ideally more bonus points for older and bigger torrents.

Less effective if site constantly offers lots of freeleech torrents.
