Its probably that I haven't seen enough, but I have noticed one thing. Most content available on private trackers has been taken from ThePirateBay or similar sites. Few examples:

1. Someone downloads a documentary from ThePirateBay. Afterwards they change the description and proceed to upload it to private trackers.

2. Someone downloads about 3-15 books of the same genre. Then, they create a collection of them, and upload the torrent to a private tracker.

I have nothing against doing it that way. People are trying hard to contribute, and I respect that. It is just that I see no point of it. Today, I was browsing through self-help torrents. One that caught my attention was about occult sciences. To me, it seemed somehow exclusive, looking so organized like that, but guess what? After googling it, I realized that it is available all over the web. Afterwards, I checked some e-books, and they were all available on free e-book sharing sites.

If most content can be found on public trackers, why would people gamble with their ratio? And If I am right indeed, where can I find this "rare" content?
Is there any tracker that has e-books, videos, music, games... that is only available for the purchase under ordinary circumstances?

Yes there is rare and exclusive content in private tackers which is not found in open trackers
second no uploaders use seeboxes in open trackers so you will suffer and fight with slow and limited adsl speeds

what are you looking for? books, music, movies?

most trackers specialize in certain type of content. all of them have unique content that you won't find on public tracker and some of then even have content not available on any other tracker.

I only know of a few trackers that limit certain torrents to specific classes but Blitz is right...speeds are great, higher level trackers will have very exclusive content (at least for private trackers) though you're also right that public trackers also sometimes gain access to this material, though I would say the majority of the time this isn't true. And its also safer. Torrents on private trackers are FAR LESS likely to have viruses etc.

I see. Well, it makes sense that downloading torrents from private trackers is safer. I am mostly looking for:

1. E-books (DIY, Computers, Self-Help, Paranormal)
2. Occult material
3. Software

I aim for exclusive content from these categories, since I mostly have everything else that can be found about these on search engines. Which high level trackers do you guys recommend?
