One question for veterans of this forum?

It is a fact that elite members of this forum are members of many great trackers. Now I wonder, how did you enter those trackers? Did you buy invitations for every single one of them? Did you wait for those trackers to become open for registration?

I am asking this because I have seen people on some tracker forums, saying that being an active, helpful and high-quality member is enough. People will gladly send you invitations that way? Is that true? I mean, if I continue to advance through ranks here, will older members willingly come to me with invitations? Should I start my career here, or on some random forum of some tracker?

I would like to become a member of some "VIP" tracker like bitme.org or theoccult.bz. How do I go about this, and what should I do?

I never bought any invite to any kind of tracker,I have now some good enough trackers.I got them via invites in TI.
Just can try to be active and you will get all whatever you want and don't rush things.

Invite system on TheOccult is closed atm so you can't join it. From time to time invites for bitme are shared on this forum (VIP section). You could also become a Power User on a tracker with a good invite forum (ptp, btn, ahd, what.cd, etc.) and get many invites from there.

I see. Thanks for replies guys! That's just what I wanted to know. I will just carry on, and see what fate has in store for me. I would really like to join bitme.org, since everyone says its the best e-learning trackers, so I would have a lot to contribute there.

Open invites are the safest ways to get in and that's just a case of biding your time. Over the period of a year you will find a few open their doors for a limited time.
A lot of sites will also have bonus invites for a limited time usually around the trackers birthday, Christmas or Easter. At this time lots of users have invites and if you have shown your self to be helpful and of good standing people are willing to give you and invite. Once someone sees that you have used the account and not been banned or disabled they are then far more willing to send you other invites as you are now deemed to be a lower risk for them.

Trackers with invite forums (a little bit out dated as some site have closed there invite threads)
    Trackers with invite forums

    Ref Bitme.org
The tracker is good but its difficult to get into. Personally I download far more from Bitspyder than I ever do from Bitme and Bitspyder is far easier to get into. By all means aim to get into Bitme but if you were a member of Bitspyder and then became a member of Bitme you may well wonder what all the fuss was about. Like Groucho Marx said "I don't want to belong to any club that would accept people like me as a member"

Well yeah, its pretty much what other people say. It seems that Bitspyder is the best e-learning tracker where I can start. Answers have been great. Thank you very much guys !!!

    Good thread AzureTempest!

I've just joined TI and have been wondering the same thing. I was invited to my private trackers through IRL friends, so it's been confusing for me on TI but I'm getting the hang of it. It seems the most valuable things on TI are reputation, likes and forum activity; the more you have the more likely you'll get an invite to the tracker you seek. Good luck

Hey, don't forget about TheGeeks.bz. It's got more content that Bitspyder or Bitme. And it's easier to get in.

The truth is Bitme is kind of overrated.

Someone had post that if you join IRC of Bitme.org and be a good helpfull guy you can find an invite.

Also other ways to find almost any invite you want is to be active here in TorrentInvites Forum , second way high ranks and old accounts in some tracker's forum where people giving invites and last way but too risky is to buy them.

Hey, thanks for mentioning that one. I heard getting into .bz trackers is quite hard, but once you get into one, you can easily get into the rest as well. Not sure if its true. Would you happen to have an invite for me ? As far as IRC is concerned, I don't think I have anything to talk about with members of some tracker, unless I am a member as well. That would probably consist of licking admins ass all day long. It may just be me, but I have noticed that admins and moderators on IRC tend to be quite vile and manipulative. There is no way I will be their bitch for an invite. Unlike those people, fellows here and friendly and helpful.

If we can't just all get along, help each other out, and be generous to each other, then to fucking hell with all of this.

P.S. To all those that posted on this thread: You guys have some skills, and you are doing this job honorably. Wish you lots of luck, and that you get invited to whichever tracker you want !
