so i'm trying to share some movie/tvshow collections that i have on trackers that have peers that keep seeding or have rewards for seeding, most private trackers only have special user classes dedicated to uploads and i'm looking for either a tracker that allows users to upload torrents as a normal user (or some upper class but not dedicated upload class)

i am always trying to upload more and although i have put some torrents on public trackers nobody really seeds there, i've upped over 15TB on a single torrent that's only been running for a few months and even after alot of people have finished no1 keeps seeding

just thought i'd ask if any1 knows any tracker like that? doesn't matter if it's invite only or not

Tbh, your question shows you're a newbie, I'm a newbie too So let me write something more clearly. Upload is likely blood on any tracker. Without uploads, a tracker will be dying. You're welcome to upload on any tracker. Read its upload rules and follow them.

Few trackers require reaching a special rank to be able to upload, these special ranks are hard to qualify, these ranks might be uploader rank or above. Only uploaders can upload. On those trackers, you are a member-only, you won't be able to upload unless you get promoted to uploader. I'm not sure if you're qualified for those requirements, just give them a try if you think you can do.

Some tracker require you to reach PU or Elite to be able to upload, just get enough old, enough upload, enough download and you will be promoted; in other words, you need to wait for a while unless you're in uploader rank.
Some trackers require you to make some offers before being able to upload directly, new users can upload after making some offers under uploading rules.
Some trackers allow you to upload directly; most of Gazelle-based trackers do, except some (read their uploading rules for more information).

In conclusion, few trackers have special requirements for uploading. Almost every tracker allows you to upload, it's you who want to upload or not then. Making offer requirement is not special requirement, its existence is to ensure your uploads and future uploads be under uploading rules. If you can't make a offer under uploading rules, don't think of uploading because your upload will be a mess in torrent database and your uploads will get deleted no matter how high your rank is, except you're in uploader rank or above which always gets bias from staff. So not uploading properly on those trackers is helping those trackers have a database in order And I personally think it's fair.

It's hard to tell you all the names that you might be interested in because there are so many names. In stead of writing some names down here, I suggest you have a look at trackerlist and read tracker reviews to discover more about what you want.

funny you think i'm a noob hehe, maybe i am noob in terms of using multiple trackers, mostly just been using one main private tracker for many years which has dedicated uploaders which i can't really qualify for nor am i looking to upload such content (0day scene content etc.)

because i have 1gbit connection i wanted to use more of my line on avg so i joined public tracker similar to tpb a few months ago to share all the stuff i've accumulated over the years from private trackers, but like i said, almost no1 keeps seeding after completion, not that i mind, more for me to upload

i checked around a bit and it's not common at least on this site to mention user uplolads (at first glance i mean) on private trackers (that don't require special clearance other than perhaps a good ratio at first and maybe a few common sense (dupes) rules)

am mostly just looking for a semi-large tracker that rewards people for uploading and i feel like i have decent stuff to share with others, but yeah i checked out the trackerlist page here earlier but didn't delve into it too much, i'll check it out again while i wait for perhaps another reply ;} ..

btw, reading your post it seems like almost all private trackers allow uploads which is definetly something i'm not used to, guess i've been holed up on my main sites for too long and the atmosphere has changed hehe

Usually, those trackers that demand you to be of a certain user classe to upload let you join said class by either donating or recruitment. Ask your staff about it.

A lot of lower level trackers enable all users to upload content without the user class title of “uploader”. Again a lot of lower level trackers run unlimited invite giveaways or simply open registration every so often to boost member numbers so I guess that should be your starting point.

On a separate note you do sound a bit n00b like telling members to hit movie packs on trackers, very easy way to sabotage ratios if they run slow internet or have no idea how to seed

well... no, i'm pretty sure i said that you should only download a few of the movies from a movie pack and seed that for a very long time, obviously don't download the whole pack

The first question to me is: Are you looking for a specific tracker type (eg movies only, HD only, series...) or a general tracker?

As said before there are several trackers that not only allow, but encourage uploads and will reward higher classes only to users that actually upload files.

Just let us know the type of tracker you’re looking and I’m pretty sure we can recommend a couple ones.

Best is to register with some general tracker, not very fussy about who uploads, and is easier to maintain ratio to keep you motivated. IPtorrents for example. However, chances are that most of your stuff will already be available on private trackers.

yeah, i found out i already had an account at PrivateHD tracker but there were a bit too many rules regarding what they allowed quality wise that either my content didn't meet the standard or there was already a release of that item in better quality than i had and i didn't feel the need to add a lower quality version if the size was comparable (a few gigs more than 720p/1080p HD)

after looking around a bit i think IPtorrents would be something i'm probably looking for, it's large enough so i assume there would be alot of peers which some other trackers are quite lacking (like RevolutionTT), just need to get an invite to the site now which i'm working on hehe

yeah i guess i'd want to share mostly movies and tvshows and if i feel like it some music collections aswell, but like i said, hopefully will get into IPTorrents sooner or later and can see if any of the stuff i have would be wanted there

so i thought i would be able to upload my own files on IPTorrents, based on it's size and amount of torrents it seemed like that would be possible but unfortunetly not, so still i wonder, does any1 know of any decent tracker that has a ratio system where "general" uploads are allowed, so far PrivateHD is the closest i have access to that is similar to this but it doesn't seem like there is a whole lot of people downloading the provided files (small userbase)
