I'm very disappointed with HDSky. They have great content and good encodes but the way it works is illogical to my mind.
They open registrations and put all the new users in a task. 1 of the options of the task is to download 20gb or 60 not really sure.
At the same time they have global freeleech for 1 week.
But even if it's not freeleech most of the torrents are 50% or 100%

I fail to understand how that helps their user base.even for promotion you need to download GBs which is practically impossible with all torrents free all the time

Welcome to Chinese trackers my friend! You'll get used to their "communist" rules or you could forget about them (like I did ).

Their policy is completely absurd. We have already discussed it in the past.
Required download task is 60GB.
Practically, this is not so difficult to reach.
When global freeleech ends, grab some very old torrents, and you will find lots of them that are not 50% or 100% free.
There are many torrents of 30 and 40GB each, among them.
In the meantime, grab some fresh ones, so you can reach easily the upload task and get the points and seeding time ratio (some other tasks!!! )
And that will be it.

What matters most, of course, is their irrational and totally repulsive policy.

I've joined for the sake of the encodes and will be putting up with the assessment. I see it as a sort of initiation to get accounts that might be more likely to stay (or to get some free cash as they exempt donors from the assessment).

I agree that having freeleech during this time is terrible timing, but again it might have something to do with trying to get more donations.

Is there a Chinese tracker with no exams? Probably MTeam?

HDArea is going to enforce an assessment also...
And there is a long discussion in their forum about that.
I am not sure why all these trackers have this practice.
Besides having donations, I begin to think that they also do it in order to present good tracker statistics
People will download more, upload more, seed more...
But not because they want to, but because they have to.
Anyway, we may use them, but don't take them seriously.
We can absolutely live without all these "enforcing" HD trackers.
There are much better out there, without any assessment

That's just Chinese mentality there, I guess.
