I am d/l some torrents of a popular tv show. I am D/L the dubbed version in Spanish, so I guess that tracker is not private.

I have already received a couple of copyright infringement notices from my ISP, I guess via the tracker and/or copyright holder.

Will using a VPN solve this issue? Or what else can I do to D/L safely?

If you want to avoid copyright infringement notices, you have 2 choices :

1) Using a paid VPN (not a free one)
or
2) Using a seedbox

But , bear in mind that some VPN providers don't allow torrenting, and some seedbox providers don't allow you to use public trackers!

I am personally using both for more privacy & security!

but #1 PIA private internet access

#2 express vpn

#3 nord vpn

are some of the best options

Also make sure you turn off DHT and PEX in your torrent client. Private torrents will turn this off automatically . Infringement notices are normally generated by movie houses joining DHT swarms and gathering your IP.
