I wouldnt use them very risky to do so.

Yeah. Since using a VPN I haven't received any notices from my ISP for downloading content from public trackers. But really, it's better/safer to use a private site if you can because you're more likely to download malware/virus/fakes from a public tracker.

Is eztv the real thing? I remember their domain and website were hijacked and all their traffic was redirected through a malware site.

I have read tons of information about the internet about ISPs anti piracy stuff, internet slow downs and so on. But I haven't got any of them hopefully yet. Is it really so dangerous to use these sites without VPN? Because for me it looks like, they have some stuff on before some private ones Actually my reason of using seedboxes are to don't slow down my PC with the tons of HDD operation, which uTorrent do sometimes. Should I be way more careful with these things and use VPNs? But VPNs are also third party servers/connections, which means that the VPN host will know all about my online activity, and they will even know all of my passkeys on torrent sites and other things like that, which is bad.

With all those private trackers out there, there is no need of using a public one.
Lots of pop up windows, safety concern, not so quality releases, not rare content.
Not real communities also, not the places where you can communicate with other users.
I tried to click on EzTV and I had to close 5-6 spam windows, safety notifications etc, before I could see the download link.
Being in 2015, with hundreds of private trackers, general and specialized, wandering around those crappy sites is useless.
Waste of time.
