If at first you don't succeed, try again.

At least that was the motto one Korean fan followed in his attempt to get on stage during the opening ceremony in Pyeongchang. He somehow managed to scoot past security and disrupt the ceremony not just once, but twice.

NBC showed the odd sequence of events at the end of its broadcast and Mike Tirico, the host of the ceremony, provided some commentary on what took place.

"There was an incident during this opening ceremony. An unauthorized individual came down the ramp onto the stage ... and then that same individual was on stage later in the program," Tirico said in the broadcast. "It's a short security miss to have an invader once during the program let alone what seems to be the same person on two different occasions."

He made it to the stage right after North and South Korea marched together behind the blue-and-white unification flag. No one was harmed or injured and the intruder was quickly removed once he was caught by security.

According to a spokeswoman from the Games, "He is currently not in police custody but the police are investigating the situation."
