I'm going to go with LeBron because he is a stronger, more versatile version of MJ. The only big upside for MJ was his defense was better than LeBron's. In terms of assists, rebounds and other stats besides PPG (which they were basically equal), LeBron was better. MJ also always had an amazing team around him during his playoff runs. Before Scottie Pippen came around, MJ was losing in the 1st and 2nd rounds. LeBron on the other hand, was able to carry his absolute worst ever Cavs team to the finals, and carried a lot of the load when Kyrie and Love were injured in years prior. No other player EVER would have been able to carry that Cavs team to the finals.

I do not watch NBA much so can not give accurate and objective assessment. But in my opinion, Michael is the most talked about in the media. And I think that person will be him, no one else.

You can't look passed Michael Jordan, his impeccable finals record. That being said his bulls teams were rubbish before they acquired scottie pippen.

Basketball was a lot different back then than it is now, these days there's teams with 2-3-4 and if ur the warriors FIVE all-star calibre players on a lot of the teams, the main offenders are the Celtics, Warriors, OKC. Also Lebron should have more votes than Kobe, just stats wise tells you that. And the fact that Lebron has willed trash teams to the finals, but he never left the Eastern conference until now.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is my second favorite

but the GOAT is Michael Jordan no doubt.
This guy lived and breathed the game. When he played, the atmosphere was electric.
He was skilled, powerful and charismatic.
    True Legend.

We all know Jordan...so I won't wax lyrical

However...I love watching Larry Bird play. In terms of competitiveness, steel, shooting, etc....in his prime must have been amazing to watch and horrible to guard.
