India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will reportedly travel to the UK to seek opinion about the "minor stress fracture" on his lower back. The injury, the extent of which is unknown, kept the 25-year-old from participating in the upcoming Test series against South Africa.

Bumrah is expected to see multiple specialists in the UK in October, PTI reported, and will be accompanied by Ashish Kaushik, the head physiotherapist at the National Cricket Academy.

Bumrah last played a Test against the West Indies in Jamaica, where he picked up a hat-trick, only the third by an Indian in Tests, en route to seven wickets in the match. He was rested from the T20I series against South Africa, which ended 1-1, and then had his injury detected during a routine radiological screening ahead of the three-match Test series. Since then, Bumrah has been rehabilitating at the NCA in Bengaluru.
