AC Milan was stunned to drop points on Sunday to last-place Benevento, no less to a stoppage-time header from Benevento goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli.

Brignoli came forward for Benevento's 95-minute free kick — and did this.

The point was Benevento's first Serie A point in club history. Benevento had lost all 14 of its previous Serie A matches.

Milan hired former legendary midfielder Gattuso as manager on Nov. 27 after Vincenzo Montella was fired. He previously coached Milan's youth team.

In typical fashion of the hard-nosed former defensive midfielder, Gattuso said it would have been better to be stabbed than lose the way Milan did.
