The defending champion Warriors and new-look Rockets split their previous two games this season. It's time for a Western Conference grudge match.
Golden State heads into Saturday night's contest against Houston (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC) riding a four-game winning streak overall and 14-game road winning streak, the third-longest stretch of its kind in NBA history. Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been electric since his return from an ankle injury in late December, averaging 31.6 points (56.1 percent shooting, 51.1 percent from 3-point range), 6.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds in his last eight starts.

The Rockets have also been hot as of late, winning four of their last five games. James Harden looked rusty in his first game back from a hamstring injury, scoring just 10 points on 3-of-15 shooting in a win over the Timberwolves on Thursday. Harden has been cleared for a slight increase in playing time, so it will be interesting to see how he fares against the league's top team.

While the stars will be available, there are some notable players stuck on the bench. Both Gerald Green and Trevor Ariza are unavailable, as they are both serving suspensions for their roles in the infamous postgame altercation between the Rockets and Clippers. Jordan Bell (ankle) and Andre Iguodala (calf) have been ruled out with injuries. The biggest question is whether Draymond Green (shoulder) will take the floor after missing Wednesday's game against the Bulls.

Sporting News will provide live updates for Saturday night's matchup. Follow along for the latest from Warriors vs. Rockets below. (All times Eastern)
