Inter Milan head coach Walter Mazzarri has suggested that the referee's decisions proved crucial in his side's 0-1 loss to Lazio at Stadio Olimpico.

Miroslav Klose scored a late goal to give the home side all three points in a game Monday which, according to Mazzarri, was decided by referee's decisions, reports Xinhua.

"We knew it was going to be a difficult game. This is the sort of game that is decided on the basis of right and wrong decisions. There was a clear penalty and a red card for a foul on Rolando from Dias. We were unlucky. It was a clear penalty. If you ask me, I'll tell you what I think," he said.

Lazio's newly-appointed head coach Edy Reja said his side could have performed much better.

"We haven't played very well today. We can do much, much more. These three points give us some serenity but we know we are not in the best condition," he said.
