Sam Bradford is back on the 53-man roster.

The Vikings activated the quarterback off injured reserve Saturday after a left knee injury sent him to the sideline earlier this season.

Bradford played in just one full game this season, throwing for 346 yards and three touchdowns in a Week 1 win over the Saints before suffering a non-contact knee injury late in the game. He made his return in Week 5 against the Bears, but was benched before halftime and hasn't played since.

Bradford underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee before being placed on injured reserve Nov. 8. He returned to practice earlier this month and completed his fifth practice Friday.

The Vikings turned to backup Case Keenum in Bradford's absence, going 11-3 in the 14 games he started. The team also has reinforcements in quarterbacks Teddy Bridgewater and Kyle Sloter.
Minnesota is slated to host New Orleans in the divisional round at 4:40 p.m. ET Sunday
