Antonio Brown injury update: Steelers WR will 'give it a go' vs. Jaguars
Antonio Brown isn't giving up now.
Following expectations that the Steelers wide receiver would undoubtedly be fully healthy by Sunday's AFC playoff game against the Jaguars, ESPN reported Saturday his injured calf is "not close to 100 percent."
The report, which cited unidentified sources, said Brown will still likely "give it a go" and added he will go through pregame warmups to test out his calf.
Brown suffered a partially torn calf muscle in the team's Week 15 loss to the Patriots and is listed as questionable on the team's injury report after being a full participant in workouts Wednesday and Thursday, though he did not practice Friday due to an illness. Still, he is expected to be active.
Brown, 29, led the NFL with 1,533 receiving yards and ranked fourth with nine touchdowns despite sitting out the final two regular-season games. His performance earned him the league's only unanimous All-Pro selection this season.
Pittsburgh is slated to host Jacksonville in the divisional round at 1:05 p.m. ET Sunday at Heinz Field
