TYRONE Peachey has finally arrived on the Gold Coast after months of speculation over whether he would honour his 2019 contract with the Titans.

Peachey officially landed at his new home this week and is ready to start preparations for the 2019 season with the Titans.

Speaking on League Central TV, The Daily Telegraph’s Phil Rothfield confirmed the superstar centre’s arrival.

“I can tell our viewers that on Tuesday he arrived on the Gold Coast, he has rented an apartment in Palm Beach and the removalist truck has arrived with all his gear,” Rothfield said.

“The Titans know he is in town and he is going to honour his big money contract there.”

Uncertainty around Peachey’s future was due to perceived financial issues within in his Gold Coast deal.

The former Panther is contracted to the Titans on a three-year deal worth an estimated $1.5 million.

“There was talk there was still financial issues to sort out which might be right,” Rothfield said.

“But he is definitely on the coast, he is going to play there and is buoyed by the fact that Mal Meninga has joined the club.”

Peachey played under Meninga during the recent Kangaroos Test matches against New Zealand and Tonga.

It is believed Peachey wants to work closely with Meninga at the Titans in a bid to shore up his position in the Kangaroos squad.

“He thinks its only going to help him make that next step to make the 17 of the Kangaroos”, Rothfield said.
