The pieces are beginning to fall into place for Tony Romo. He'll no longer be calling plays for the Cowboys, but rather CBS, according to the SportsBusiness Journal.

It was assumed this could be the place for Romo to go given his friendship with CBS' Jim Nantz. Romo's intelligence for the game and humored demeanor make him the perfect replacement for Simms.

Interestingly enough, Romo will be calling the Cowboys' Thanksgiving game this season.

In terms of Simms, his destination is unkown, but this will be the second time in his career he has lost a starting position. Once to Jeff Hostetler, now to Romo.
