Junior Kiwis playmaker Chanel Harris-Tavita has left fans and commentators with their jaws on the floor after one of the wildest pieces of rugby league play you’ve ever seen.

In the 17th minute of their clash with the Junior Kangaroos at Mt Smart Stadium, the Kiwis were attacking down the left-hand side of the field when Harris-Tavita put in a scorpion kick.

The 19-year-old halfback managed to regather then offload for backrower Isaiah Papal’i to score.

"You’re kidding!" the Sky Sports NZ commentator exclaimed.

"I think the entire stadium’s in a little bit of disbelief ... it was magic.

"Get out of here. Lost for words.

"Kid these days, you think they’d just put it on the boot -- no, I’ll do it the hard way.

"I think that’s going to get about 5 million views on YouTube."
