Smriti Mandhana, India opener, has moved to the top spot in the ICC ODI batting rankings for women following her performances in the three-match series in New Zealand. The Indian southpaw stroked 105, 90* and 1 in the three games to finish as the highest run-getter in the series that India won 2-1.

She is followed by Ellyse Perry, who earlier occupied the top spot and Australian skipper Meg Lanning. New Zealand captain Amy Satterthwaite - who hit two half-centuries in the series against India - jumped 10 spots in the rankings and moved to the fourth spot, while her Indian counterpart Mithali Raj dropped a spot below to No 5. Suzie Bates, who stroked a half-century in the third ODI, moved a place up and currently occupies the fifth spot.

Teenager Jemimah Rodrigues, who hit an unbeaten 81 in the first one-dayer, has jumped 64 spots to No. 61.

In the bowler's rankings, veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami has moved a spot above to No 4, while the Indian spin duo of Poonam Yadav and Deepti Sharma entered the top 10 in the rankings. Slow left-armer Ekta Bisht too climbed nine places to No 13.
