Suzuki MotoGP Team Manager Davide Brivio denied it had undergone formal negotiations with the Pramac Ducati rider, Andrea Iannone for their project next year.
Even so, Brivio claimed to have in-depth discussions with Ducati duo Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow, as well as the NGM Forward Racing riders, Aleix Espargaro.
"We did not submit a proposal to formally Iannone, but we give some information about what we do. We discuss the details, but just a regular discussion before formal negotiations," said Brivio told MCN.
Through GPOne.com, Iannone admitted that his fate will be determined next year in the Netherlands this weekend. According to the manager, Carlo Pernat, Iannone will only survive if moved to the Ducati factory team.
