WWE won't put on the Elimination Chamber premium live event until February 18, but the seeds for the titular match were seemingly planted during WarGames at Survivor Series. The ongoing Bloodline saga will likely run until WrestleMania 39, where the hope remains for a match between The Rock and Roman Reigns. That'd be the biggest money fight the company could put on, and WWE is motivated to make it happen since the PLE is taking place in Hollywood. Of course, there are many moving parts, and The Showcase Of The Immortals isn't until April 1 and 2, 2023. Triple H is the kind of booker who maintains long-term plans, though, which is why fans will see a connection between WarGames and Elimination Chamber.

The Bloodline is a ticking time bomb, with the renewed honeymoon period between Sami Zayn and the faction will likely not last past the Royal Rumble in January. That match, in particular, will give members of The Bloodline plenty of opportunities to show their true colors. Eagle-eyed members of WWE's audience noticed that Solo Sikoa was acting awfully funny on the November 28 episode of Monday Night Raw. While the rest of The Bloodline celebrated their win at WarGames, Sikoa stood idly by with his arms crossed. That's another log in the fire of a slow-burn storyline that is reaching a roaring blaze. Some have speculated that The Samoan Dynasty elder who sent Sioka to help Reigns could be The Rock.

How WarGames Will Fuel Elimination Chamber

Survivor Series held intrigue because WWE fans have been drip-fed the idea that Zayn would stab Reigns in the back. His interaction with Owens on SmackDown planted seeds for a possible face turn for the honorary Uce. Instead, Zayn prevented Owens from securing a pinfall on Roman Reigns at the end of the match. Sami drilled Kevin with a low blow and a Helluva kick before laying him out for Jey Uso to pin. It was a sacrifice more than 20 years in the making, and even though Owens said that he understood on the following Raw, it's hard to believe those two are capital-D Done. Kevin certainly isn't finished with The Bloodline in general, and the odds seem good that Drew McIntyre will also want payback.

Elimination Chamber will be interesting because it's a solo match and isn't team-based like WarGames. What happens if Zayn is left standing with Jey Uso and Kevin Owens, for example? A star like Cody Rhodes or Brock Lesnar could also be involved in that match, adding another wrinkle. If loyalties felt stretched during the WarGames fight, they will almost certainly be tested again during a winner-take-all match at Elimination Chamber. It'll be quite some time before the major players for that premium live event are revealed, but The Bloodline gives WWE many attractive options moving forward.

A combination of Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre and a wild card like Cody Rhodes would be a ton of fun. That's just an example of the kind of match fans could be treated to, and Lesnar always looms as a possible player during WrestleMania season. Looking at that set up, WWE could weave a story where no one is really able to trust anyone else in the match despite there being clear alliances. And, once again, fans would be on the edge of their seat waiting to see how things shake out with Zayn and The Bloodline. Triple H might have moved past that stage of the story by then. If The Bloodline has turned on Sami by that point (or some other swerve), then the vicious Elimination Chamber structure would be a pretty stellar place to seek revenge. Regardless of where things are headed, WWE's renewed focus on long-term storytelling makes looking several months down the road more fun that it's been in quite some time.
