THEY may be familiar colours, but TEKNO will be rolling out with a new primary sponsor at the start of Supercars’ Enduro Cup.

The No. 19 Holden of rookie Jack Le Brocq and 2016 Bathurst 1000 winner Jonathon Webb will carry the black and orange of Truck Assist at next weekend’s RABBLE Sandown 500.

The backing will also appear on the TEKNO car at the Bathurst 1000, Gold Coast 600 and Newcastle 500.

The partnership marks the first time the truck roadside assistance and online insurance provider has ventured into Supercars, with plans for trackside activations across the four upcoming events.

“Truck Assist is excited to partner with Jack Le Brocq and TEKNO Autosports for these premier Supercar events,” Alan Hasted, general manager of Truck Assist, said.

“Jack’s a major talent with a big future in the sport. He’s someone we’re proud to throw our support behind and to have as an ambassador for our business. There’s a genuine synergy there.

“TEKNO Autosports has long punched above its weight in Supercar racing. They’re a small tight-knit team — perfect for us to partner and grow with. Together we’ve got some exciting things planned along the way.”

The partnership was unveiled at TEKNO’s Gold Coast base on Tuesday, the new-look livery shown off alongside the company’s restored, custom 1946 Ford Jailbar truck.

The Truck Assist livery will hit the track for the first time on Wednesday at Queensland Raceway as TEKNO carries out its pre-Enduro Cup test day alongside the rest of the southeast Queensland-based teams.
