Stephen Curry did not return to the court in the second half of Friday's game against the Hawks because of an ankle injury.

The Warriors, who held a 62-50 halftime lead, announced early in the second half Curry would not be playing the rest of the game after he was injured in the first quarter.

Curry got hurt defending a drive to the basket in the first half when he jumped and came down on teammate Zaza Pachulia's foot.

The two-time NBA MVP went to the locker room after the play, but returned to action and scored 25 points in the first half. Fortunately for Curry, he should have ample time to recover. The Warriors they don't play again until Tuesday and are not scheduled to practice Saturday or Sunday
