Ben Roethlisberger isn't going to end his career with a home playoff loss.

Following Sunday's disappointing 45-42 loss to the Jaguars, the Steelers quarterback hushed retirement talks which have been swirling since Week 5 when the Jags picked him off five times in a 30-9 home loss.

"I don't know who's coming back, but I know the guys up front are and that makes it good for me," Roethlisberger told reporters Sunday. "So I look forward to next year with these guys.

"I definitely have a desire to play football. I love this game, I love these guys."

Big Ben said after the Week 5 loss he maybe didn't "have it anymore." The 35-year-old had gaudy numbers Sunday, going 37 of 58 for 469 yards and five touchdowns but fell victim to two turnovers and questionable play-calling.

While Roethlisberger, who is under contact through the 2019 season, plans on returning, offensive coordinator Todd Haley’s contract is expiring. Expect Haley to be the fall guy for the Steelers' loss and Pittsburgh and the "Killer B's" to come back stronger next season.
