Chelsea overturned a two-goal deficit against Paris Saint-Germain to reach the Champions League semifinals this morning (NZT), with Paris-born striker Demba Ba clinching a 2-0 win that sent the London club through on away goals with a 3-3 draw.

After losing 3-1 in the French capital, Andre Schuerrle began Chelsea's comeback with a first-half goal but it took substitute Ba to stun his hometown club and grab the crucial goal in the 87th minute.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho sprinted down the touchline to join his celebrating players at Stamford Bridge.

Real Madrid alsoe reached the semifinals despite losing 2-0 at Borussia Dortmund in their second leg match.

Playing without star striker Cristiano Ronaldo due to a left-knee injury, Madrid missed an early penalty but went through 3-2 on aggregate against last season's runner-up thanks to its 3-0 home victory in the first leg.

Marco Reus scored in the 24th and 37th minutes, and Dortmund wasted several excellent opportunities in the second half, including a shot against the post.

Nine-time champion Madrid reached the semifinals for the fourth consecutive season. Madrid lost in the semifinals in the past three.
