SHANE Flanagan is welcoming a meeting with the Integrity Unit, saying he and the club have nothing to hide.

In his first response to the salary cap scandal that has engulfed Cronulla this week, Flanagan said they are clear on what is required of their third-party agreements.

As such, the man who’s coached the club since 2010, is confident all player top-ups have been registered with the NRL.

“I’ve nothing to hide, in fact I worked closely with the NRL for many years... different parts of the NRL with integrity, salary cap and football ops. So I look forward to that meeting,” he said.

“Our salary cap is well under - has been for many years. And is very well managed.

“As for third party agreements, there’s been one clear message in this club for a long period of time – from top to bottom – that all third parties must be registered with the NRL.

“And to my knowledge with all my time at the club, that has been the case.”
