Serbian midfielder Marko Milinkovic is training with Bolton with a view to a possible deal.

The 26-year-old, who picked up a single cap for Serbia in 2009, is available on a free transfer after being released by Slovakian top-flight side Slovan Bratislava.

Bolton are discussing a potential contract for Milinkovic to play for the Sky Bet Championship side, but any deal would be subject to a work permit.

Milinkovic began his career with Serbian side Borac Čačak before signing for MFK Košice in Slovakia in 2007.

He scored 19 goals in 86 appearances before moving to Slovan Bratislava in 2011, where he has scored 21 goals in over 100 games.

Milinkovic made his international debut in a 3-1 friendly win over South Africa after six caps and three goals for Serbia’s U21s.
