Predators forward Ryan Johansen did a little bit of everything Thursday night, recording a Gordie Howe Hat Trick in Nashville's 4-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks.

The 25-year-old started his evening by giving the Predators a 2-0 lead late in the first period.

Johansen positioned himself in front of the net and redirected Filip Forsberg's backhander past Ducks goalie John Gibson for his 10th tally of the season.

Nashville took that advantage into the second period, when tempers began to flare up between Johansen and Ducks forward Ryan Kesler.

The pair renewed their personal rivalry, which dates back to last year's Western Conference final. After Game 2 of that series, Johansen ripped Kesler by questioning how his family and friends could "cheer for a guy like that." The two-way centers battled one another for half of that series, before Johansen injured his leg in Game 4 and missed the rest of Nashville's postseason run.

In their first meeting this season, Johansen and Kesler didn't waste the opportunity to drop the gloves.

Kesler won the fight and mocked Johansen for attempting to cover his face, but the latter would have the last laugh as he helped Nashville seal its franchise-best 10th straight win.

The Predators forward completed his Gordie Howe Hat Trick with a secondary assist on Nashville's insurance goal. Johansen fed a breakout pass to Filip Forsberg, who streaked down the ice and set up Viktor Arvidsson to extend the lead to 4-2 with less than two minutes remaining.

Nashville held on for the two points and Johansen savored the moment in his post-game interview in front of the sold-out crowd at Bridgestone Arena.
