Rwanda have withdrawn their bid to host the 2019 Fifa u17 World Cup.

The President of the Rwandan Football Federation, Vincent Nzamwita confirmed the country’s decision to pull out their bid and cited inadequate preparation as a reason.

"We had so many things that were not ready or prepared and decided it was only good that we withdraw," Nzamwita told BBCSport.
"We however remain ambitious to bid again in the near future.

"After submitting our intent last year to host the tournament, critically we realised that we are left with a few months to the start of the tournament.
"Therefore we did not have enough time to logistically meet the minimum requirements of hosting a successful event,” he concluded.

Withdrawal of Rwanda’s bid, leaves just Kenya and Singapore in contention for the hosting rights of the biennial youth championship.
The world football governing body will announce the host for next year's tournament after the Fifa Council meeting slated for March 16 in Colombia
