CRAIG Goodwin may have netted a double to send Adelaide to an impressive 3-0 win against Central Coast Mariners over the weekend, but it was the other goal scorer who nabbed the full three points in the Alex Tobin Medal.

Young striker Apostolos Stamatelopoulos, in his first start since returning from Young Socceroos duty, received the full complement of votes.

The award, which tallies A-League Player of the year, is voted for by Fox Sports’ Team of Experts.

Stamateloulos topped the vote for the Reds win over the Mariners, as Isaias and Goodwin rounded out the podium.

Meanwhile, Sydney FC registered a three-goal victory of their own, but their goal scorers were pipped by a defender for maximum points.

It was Rhyan Grant who was rewarded for a strong outing, as Adam Le Fondre and Paulo Retre each grabbed their first points of the season.

Three votes also went to Wanderers star Alex Baumjohann, Kosta Barbarouses and Chris Ikonomidis as they helped their teams to victory.

There was no movement atop the leader board though, with Kalifa Cisse and Steven Taylor still sitting in the top two spots respectively, while Roly Bonevacia moved into third spot after nabbing two votes for his showing against former club Wellington Phoenix.
