The Grizzlies have reached a buyout with forward Brandan Wright and the 30-year-old has already found a new home.

According to ESPN, the 2007 No. 8 overall pick will sign with the Rockets as he has settled his three-year, $18 million contract with Memphis.

Wright has never really found a home in the NBA while averaging 7.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game over his career, but he's shown flashes of why he was such a high draft pick.

He has played with six teams in his career and averaged a 60.7 percent shooting percent from the field. Also, with James Harden and Chris Paul on the roster, two players who have a propensity for hitting big men inside for easy buckets, Wright could be good fit in Houston.
Wright was averaging 5.0 points and 3.4 rebounds in 13.6 minutes off the bench for the Grizzlies this season
