BULLDOGS winger Reimis Smith has scored a brilliant double against uncle Anthony Mundine’s former club to have the Dragons reeling.

First Smith burnt Matt Dufty with a superb in and away against one of the fastest fullback’s in the game.

Then he finished a Bulldog’s movement with one of the put down’s of the year, with inches to spare in the corner.

“Kerod Holland found Reimis Smith and the rest is history,” Braith Anasta said of Smith’s first try.

“Smith is a superstar to beat Dufty, one of the quickest players in the competition.

“He beats him for speed, which is hard to do and what a player he is.”

But it was his second try that most impressed Danny Buderus.

“This is my try of the year,” Buderus said.

“The skill to go from right hand to left hand in mid air, that is some sort of talent.

“That is outstanding to have your whole body outside of play and what a game he is having Reimis Smith.”

It was a bitter sweet moment for Mundine, who has scored his share of stunning tries at Jubilee Oval, but none better than Smith’s two in the first half against the Dragons.

Smith’s mother is Mundine’s sister and he would no doubt be proud of his nephew, despite him producing his best game of the year against his old club.

The Dragons have now slipped to sixth on the ladder, despite the Panthers losing, after the 38-0 loss to the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs might not be playing finals footy, but they won’t be collecting the wooden spoon after dominating the Dragons.

Smith made it a hat-trick in the second half to turn Matt Dufty inside out again to cap off a brilliant performance.
