NO summer signings and an unfinished stadium could be the least of Tottenham’s worries, as French giants PSG hatch a plan to steal one of their star players.

Meanwhile in Spain, Barcelona have their sights firmly set on one of Liverpool’s January targets and a Real Madrid star “will play in Italy”.

Current Ligue 1 champions PSG are set to make a $175.5 million bid for Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.

According to the Express, the big-spending French side are keen on signing the 26-year-old Dane, who still hasn’t signed a new contract at White Hart Lane.

His stalled contract negotiations has alerted numerous European clubs, and it’s PSG who are planning on launching a massive bid in an attempt to secure his signature.

The European transfer window shuts on August 31 so the Parisians will be in a race against the clock to get the deal over the line.

MODRIC ‘WILL PLAY IN ITALY’
The Croatian star has been linked with a move to Serie A giants Inter Milan throughout the summer and his agent believes “sooner or later Luka will play in Italy”.

Modric is desperate to leave Real Madrid and has his heart set on the Italian giants but his current club are unwilling to sell.

The Italian transfer window closes this Friday so time is running out for Inter to complete the move.

It means Modric is more likely to leave for a transfer fee next year or as a free agent in 2020 when his contract at the Bernabeu expires.

RABIOT WANTS OUT
Manchester United and Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot has declined a new contract long-term offer at Paris Saint-Germain, with his deal set to expire at the end of the season.

It opens up the prospect of the player leaving next summer when his deal runs out, as he keeps his options open.

The Daily Express is reporting that Barca could now make a move for the 23-year-old too.

Rabiot did not make Didier Deschamps’ squad for the World Cup, as Les Bleus went on to claim victory in Russia.

INTER GET YOUNG GUN BALDE
Monaco winger Keita Balde will undergo a medical on Monday ahead of his proposed loan move to Inter Milan, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report suggests the 23-year-old, who only joined Monaco from Lazio last summer, will join the Nerazzurri on a season-long loan with a A$53.5 million option to buy.

The rapid winger played for Senegal during the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

N’ZONZI AGREES TERMS WITH ROMA
Long-term Arsenal target Steven N’Zonzi has reportedly agreed to join Roma.

According to the Express, the 29-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Italian side, but a fee hasn’t been established yet.

The Sevilla midfielder, who recently won the World Cup with France, is expected to join Roma for around A$47 million.

VILLA DERBY LEAD CHASE TO LAND REAL SENSATION
Aston Villa and Derby are leading the chase for Real Madrid wonderkid Martin Odegaard, according to reports.

The Norwegian playmaker began to discover his form on an 18-month loan at Eredivisie outfit Heerenveen.

Los Blancos chief Julen Lopetegui wants to send him to the Championship next as he believes it will be a good place to develop further.

And the Mirror claims Villa and Derby are the frontrunners, with a host of clubs interested.

Odegaard has featured regularly in pre-season for Real, who he joined at the age of just 15 in 2015.

BAKAYOKO SET FOR AC MILAN LOAN
AC Milan have agreed a deal to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea on a season-long loan with an option to buy for A$62 million, Sky in Italy are reporting.

The deal is subject to a medical with the player expected to undertake the necessary examinations on Monday morning.

The 23-year-old France international joined the Blues from Monaco last summer for £40m and started 25 Premier League games in his first season in the Premier League.
