Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been accused of diving, while Watford defender Christian Kabasele suffered a sickening injury.

It’s Premier League Extra Time!

SALAH IN DIVE STORM
Reds superstar Salah is being accused of a dive against Newcastle after going down under slight contact from Toon defender Paul Dummett.

If found guilty by an FA panel, the Egyptian would face an automatic two-game ban meaning he would miss crunch clashes with Arsenal and Manchester City.

Dummett appeared to touch Salah’s arm, before the attacker went tumbling. He soon got up to score his 12th goal of the season from the penalty spot as the Reds romped to a 4-0 win.

SICKENING INJURY HOSPITALISES KABASELE
Watford defender Christian Kabasele needed oxygen and was rushed to hospital after a sickening collision with a goalpost.

Kabasele slid in with the hope of blocking out a Willian strike from a tight angle, and in doing so crashed against the upright in a horror collision.

He was wheeled off on a stretcher after a significant hold up of play, as medical staff quickly whisked him to care.

The incident took place after just 10 minutes of the clash against Chelsea.

GUNNERS’ FAN TEXT
After a recent spate of controversial incidences involving their fans, Arsenal were taking no chances for their game against Brighton.

The club sent out a text at 8am on game day to supporters, warning them to behave for the Boxing Day fixture.

It read: “Reminder to travelling fans today, Arsenal does not tolerate any discriminatory or anti-social behaviour. ARSENAL FOR EVERYONE.”

LEICESTER HOSPITALITY
Is there a better club out there than Leicester?

The Foxes have made headlines of late with their incredible gestures for fans, and there was another one at the King Power overnight.

As if a Boxing Day win over Manchester City wasn’t enough, Leicester treated their supporters to free beer and mince pies before the match!

EMERY GETS MAD
Arsenal boss Unai Emery apologised to Brighton supporters after he kicked a water bottle into the crowd during his team’s 1-1 draw at Brighton.

The coaches errant bottle hit a fan – and Emery was remorseful.

“I said to them, ‘apologies’, because I kicked the bottle after a disappointing action for us in the last minutes,” Emery said after the game.

‘It wasn’t hard, but it touched one supporter for them. I said to them I’m sorry.’

Easy there, Unai! Calm down!

ROO COPS SEARCH
There was a familiar face in the crowd at Old Trafford as new Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took to the home dugout for the first time.

Former teammate Wayne Rooney was in attendance, but his scoring heroics in the past weren’t enough to see him avoid a pat down by security!

Rooney would have been happy with what he saw as United powered on to a 3-1 win over Huddersfield, as Solskjaer made it two from two as boss.

OZIL HOOKED!
Gunners star Mesut Ozil managed just 45 minutes as his team drew 1-1 with Brighton.

The German was hooked after the first half – a decision which Emery suggested was tactical rather than anything else.

“It was tactical,” Emery told talkSPORT. “Like before, in other matches, we decided like that.

“Today is the same because we thought we need some time tactically to do more with more balance so this is the reason.”

Not a great look for a player who is already rumoured to be on the outs at the Emirates.
