PETA Hiku’s reputation as one of the best flick pass exponents in the NRL just got another shot in the arm, with the Warriors centre laying on a try with a “very special” no look offload to winger David Fusitu’a.

Fox League expert Mark Gasnier was gushing in his praise of the pass, saying it “was one of the best passes I’ve ever seen”.

Greg Alexander said he was getting used to watching Hiku tee up his outside man with a seemingly impossible pass.

“For most centres that has to be part of their repertoire but Peta Hiku does it better than most,” he said.

“He’s put Fusitua over in similar fashion throughout the year.

“Peta Hiku has the ability to hold the ball in one hand and find the mark. That’s pretty special.”

Justin Hodges added: “Very special, he wasn’t even looking.”

It’s no surprise the recipient of the flick, Fusitu’a, has amassed an incredible 22 tries this season.
