FRENCH World Cup star Paul Pogba raised a few eyebrows across the channel following his country’s victory in Russia when he decided to whip out a familiar song during a winners photo shoot.

Pogba cemented his status as one of the world’s most gifted midfielders during the tournament, scoring a sensational goal in the final as France lifted the trophy with a 4-2 win over Croatia.

The 25-year-old’s decisive blow, which put his team up by two goals and effectively ended the decider as a contest, was much needed after an underwhelming Premier League campaign at Manchester United.

And it might have been the stick he’s copped for his form in England that was behind his decision to troll the nation’s fans in the sheds.

Pogba began singing and dancing while having a photo shoot with the World Cup trophy, and started to break into England’s famous It’s Coming Home, offering a cheeky look to the camera while he did it.

England fans used the song as a rallying cry during their promising run, which ended in a loss to Croatia in the semifinals.

It certainly got a reaction, with one Facebook user commenting: “I'm a United fan but Pogba can f*** off for that”.

Pogba’s Instagram Live videos captured a jubilant mood in the France dressing room, with the nation’s leader Emmanuel Macron throwing out dabs, sombreros appearing from nowhere, and refreshments flowing.

The hard work has already been done, but it looked like the celebrations are only just beginning.
