Pogba 'in Mourinho ultimatum to United'

Things may be coming to a head as far as Paul Pogba's future at Manchester United is concerned, with the Sun reporting that he "has told teammates he will quit in January unless Jose Mourinho has gone."

France international Pogba, whose relationship with Mourinho has become increasingly tense, was substituted during the 3-1 defeat at West Ham on Saturday.

The Sun says he "feels he is being embarrassed by being played in formations and with tactics that none of the team can get to grips with" and has "told people close to him that he is better off not playing in a Mourinho team."

It claims Pogba is "resigned to the fact that he cannot play under the manager and wants out if Mourinho stays."

The World Cup-winning midfielder and United's record signing was reported over the weekend to be keen to join Barcelona or Real Madrid -- but United do not want to sell him.

Sources have told ESPN FC that the Barcelona board are divided on whether or not to make a January move for Pogba, but are confident that the club have the funds to land him.

Speculation over Mourinho's position at Old Trafford has increased since the West Ham defeat, with United facing a crucial home game against Valencia in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Gunners eye Zielinski as Ramsey replacement

With Aaron Ramsey seeming all but certain to be on his way out of Arsenal after contract talks broke down, who might be on the way in?

The Mirror, citing reports in Italy, says coach Unai Emery wants Napoli's Piotr Zielinski to replace the Wales international.

Arsenal could soon make a move for Zielinski, a target for Liverpool two summers ago, but reports in Italy say Napoli want to keep the Poland international.

Ramsey has been linked with Liverpool -- who reportedly tried to sign him in the summer -- amid suggestions that he would like to work with manager Jurgen Klopp.

Meanwhile, the Mirror reports that Arsenal and Everton are mulling a move for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.

Ivory Coast international Pepe, who has scored five goals in eight matches this season, is valued at around £30 million.

Everton have had the 23-year-old watched in recent weeks, but both Barcelona and Sevilla are also interested and Lyon had a bid turned down over the summer.
