A San Francisco news anchor has been accused of stealing from the Warriors head of security while the team was in San Antonio facing the Spurs in Game 4.

According to The Athletic, Mike Shumann of KGO-TV was seen on security tape swiping the jacket of Ralph Walker, then walking out of the AT&T Center after practice last week.

“We are taking these allegations very seriously and conducting a full investigation," KGO said in a statement. "As a matter of policy, we do not comment about personnel matters.”

Shumann has been sent back to San Francisco and didn't appear to interview any of the players after Sunday's game. KGO has an agreement with the Warriors to exclusively interview players after games. Shumann is normally the person who conducts the interviews, which has prompted players to refuse to be interviewed.

According to the report, many Warriors players are upset about the incident because they feel Shumann received preferential treatment. Shumann is a big name in the Bay Area since he played for the 49ers and became a reporter not long after his NFL career ended.

The Athletic stated that Shumann apologized to the players
